Seven people were killed and 29 injured on Friday when a boat capsized off Indonesia’s Flores island in a flotilla to celebrate Easter, an official said.
Forty-six people were rescued and four were still missing after the accident in the Sempit Strait off East Flores district, said Sutopo Nugroho, spokesman for the National Disaster Management Agency.
“The boat was overloaded and the seas were heavy,” Mr. Nugroho said.
