The trial of Egypt’s ousted former President Mohamed Morsy on charges of inciting the killing of protesters was adjourned till Tuesday due to bad weather conditions, state television reported.
The session was adjourned as Mr. Morsy could not be transferred to the Police Academy, on the outskirts of Cairo, where the trial is held.
Prosecutors say Mr. Morsy and 14 others, mainly from his administration and the Muslim Brotherhood, incited their supporters to kill protesters outside the presidential palace in December 2012.
Ten people were killed in the clashes.
Mr. Morsy is facing three other trials on separate charges of conspiring with foreign groups, a 2011 escape from prison and contempt for judges.
The Brotherhood argues that the charges are politically motivated and that most of those killed in the clashes were backers of Mr. Morsy.
Mr. Morsy, Egypt’s first democratically elected president was deposed by the army in July after mass protests on the first anniversary of his presidency.
