An IT company run by Indian-Americans has been entrusted with the task of fixing the problem-plagued website for President Barack Obama’s signature healthcare reforms.
Jeffrey Zients, appointed by Mr. Obama to fix the problem, on Friday announced that the Maryland-based Quality Software Services Inc (QSSI) has been entrusted with the task of fixing all the problems by late November.
Founded in 1997 by Tony Singh, QSSI over the past few years has emerged as one of the top IT companies in the healthcare sector. QSSI is now headed by Bikram Bakshi as president and CEO. It employs over 400 people and majority of its top leadership is Indian-American.
