A town mayor, his wife and two other companions were killed on Friday in an attack by unidentified gunmen at an airport in the Philippine capital, an official said.

Four others were injured in the attack at terminal 3 of Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport, according to Angel Honrado, the general manager of the facility.

The victims had just arrived from the southern city of Zamboanga and were waiting for their pick up when two suspects on a motorcycle opened fire at them.
