Former Israeli foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman was acquitted on Tuesday of fraud and breach of trust charges.
A panel of judges at Jerusalem’s District Court ruled unanimously that he was not guilty, Israel Radio reported.
The acquittal means he can return to his old job as foreign minister.
Mr. Lieberman had been accused of appointing an Israeli diplomat to the position of ambassador as a way of thanking the diplomat for providing classified documents on a police investigation against him.
