Anonymous hacks Kenyan Army Twitter accounts

The hacking group Anonymous has infiltrated the Twitter accounts of the Kenyan Army and its spokesman, local media reported on Monday.

Anonymous claimed the attacks on Twitter.

“All of you who have stolen from Kenya, we are coming after you,” read a tweet posted on the Army Twitter account.

“So much poverty in Africa while you are wasting money in guns,” read another message.

Army spokesman Emmanuel Chirchir, whose account was targeted, said the military was trying to get control of the two accounts.

“We have contacted Twitter and the local security agencies are on top of things,” Daily Nation quoted him as saying.

Anonymous also defaced the website of an agency of the Environment Ministry.
