Emergency services in the southern Norwegian town of Moss freed a woman who was partly trapped inside a washing machine, reports said on Friday.

The woman in her 20s had apparently stuck her head and one arm inside the washing machine’s drum and was unable to free herself, a police spokesman told the local Moss Avis newspaper.

Another person alerted police early Friday and after 10 minutes police and emergency service were able to free the woman who was unharmed.

Police said that the freed woman apparently won a bet with the person who alerted them, but questioned the wisdom of such pranks.
