With a payment of about €3.2 billion due to the European Central Bank on Thursday, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras needs approval for his country’s third bailout from two key euro-area parliaments.

Bloomberg reports that the Dutch Parliament has been recalled to debate the programme at an extraordinary session in The Hague on Wednesday.

The German Bundestag also meets in Berlin on Wednesday. While Chancellor Angela Merkel may face a revolt among lawmakers from her party, the plan is expected to be be passed in the vote.

Prime Minister Tsipras is expected to ask for a vote of confidence on Thursday evening, or Friday. Should he fail to win the vote, Tsipras is nearly certain to call a snap election as early as September 20th or 27th.
