Greek authorities say a Turkish—flagged catamaran tourist boat with 213 passengers on board has crashed into a dock in the port of the eastern Aegean island of Kos. Five passengers have been seriously injured and 20 others sustained light injuries.

The Merchant Marine Ministry said on Wednesday that most of those injured were British. It did not have any further details on how the accident occurred.

Kos, which lies near the Turkish coast, is a popular destination for day—trippers from Turkey.
