Turkey’s state-run news agency says the country will take in some of the Palestinians freed in a swap deal with Israel.

The Anatolia news agency did not say how many of the inmates Turkey will take, or when they would arrive. The agency did not cite a source for its report.

Under the prisoner swap deal, 1,027 Palestinian prisoners will be released in return for a captured Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit.
