South Korean police said on Tuesday that three people were dead after a gunman opened fire at a store in Sejong City and set the store on fire before fleeing. The suspect was later found dead in a nearby city of Gongju in the central part of South Korea where his suspected vehicle was also found, said a police official, who didn’t want to be named citing office rules.

The victims were the store owner, his son and another man who might have known the suspect, the police official said. The police have yet to recover the murder weapon, which they believe to be a hunting rifle.
