Indian Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna has said that the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj, will lead a parliamentary delegation to Sri Lanka.

The visit was planned for late last year, but had to be put off because of developments in India. The visit is likely to be held after the current spell of State Legislative Assembly elections.

The Bharatiya Janata Party and Sushma Swaraj herself had taken up the issue of safety of Indian fishermen on a visit to Tamil Nadu recently.
