At least two rockets hit the military section of the international airport in Kabul Thursday, police said.

“Two rockets fired from an unknown place landed on Kabul International Airport at 12:30 pm (0800 GMT),” said police spokesman Hashmat Stanekzai.

No casualties were reported, he said.

Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, saying a number of aircraft were also damaged.
