At least eight people were killed and four injured on Monday in two separate bombing attacks in northern Afghanistan.
“A police vehicle struck a roadside bomb in Khan Abad district, killing an officer and wounding three others,” said Sayed Sarwar Hussaini, police spokesman for Kunduz province.
“In a similar incident in the same district, seven gunmen of the local militia were killed and one injured,” he said.
