At least 10 people were killed after two buses collided head-on on Friday in Bangladesh’s western district of Rajbari, police said.

Eight people died at the scene when the inter-district buses crashed before dawn at Basantapur on the Dhaka-Khulna highway, police officer Nizam Khan said.

Two others died in a local hospital after 25 survivors were taken to a nearby hospital, he added.
