Relief copters fired upon again in Balochistan

September 27, 2013 11:30 pm | Updated November 16, 2021 09:05 pm IST - ISLAMABAD:

On a day when Pakistan Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan was visiting the earthquake affected areas, “miscreants” fired at a helicopter carrying relief goods in the Mushkay area of Balochistan as the toll climbed to 359.

Ground troops engaged in rescue and relief were also targeted at Buzdad on Friday, according to military sources.

No loss of life or property was reported.

The sources said it was highly condemnable that while the government along with armed forces was making efforts to bring relief to the affected, miscreants/terrorists in Balochistan were attacking rescue parties and causing hindrance in the provision of relief and supplies.
