The Pakistani military said it had successfully test fired four short-range, surface-to-surface missiles on Tuesday.
The NASR missiles have a range of 60 kilometres, and were launched from an undisclosed location, a military spokesman said.
“NASR is a quick response system,” military spokesman Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa said.
The payload capacity of the missiles was not specified. It was also not clear whether they could deliver both conventional and nuclear weapons.
