Gas supply to his official residence in the capital was cut off after unpaid bills of Rs 4.7 million, according to a report in Roznama Express quoted in Express Tribune .
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) disconnected gas supply not only to the Prime Minister’s house but also to the Parliament lodges, the Jinnah Convention Centre and the Shariat court, among other government offices, Roznama said.
The report quoted the SNGPL spokesperson as saying that Parliament House owed the utility Rs 1.3 million, the Parliament Lodges Rs 7,70,000, the Shariat court Rs 2,24,000 and Governor House Rs 8.8 million.
