Journalist shot at in Lahore

Unidentified gunmen opened fire on the car of journalist and anchorperson for Express News Raza Rumi in Lahore on Friday evening, injuring his driver, Mustafa, critically and his guard, according to news reports. The driver later succumbed to injuries while the guard who sustained bullet wounds is in hospital. Mr. Rumi who was injured, is out of danger.

Mr. Rumi is a contributing editor for The Friday Times, a columnist and author of a book on Delhi as well.
