Members of Nepal’s Constituent Assembly (CA) are to be given lessons in English to enable them to study constitutions of the world, the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) reported.

The Training, Seminar, Workshop and Interaction sub-committee of the CA’s Capacity Building and Resources Management Committee, is preparing to conduct an English language course after the upcoming Dashain festival, according to the government-owned news agency. The decision was taken on Wednesday.

The focus of the coaching will be on “speaking” and “listening.”

CA member Lakshmi Rai of the Nepali Congress offered to coach them, as she had been a college teacher herself.
