Doctor gunned down at his clinic in Pakistan

A 50-year-old doctor from the minority Ahmadi community was gunned down at his clinic by two unidentified armed assailants in Sindh province.

“Mubashar Ahmad Khosa, a well-known medical practitioner of Mirpur Khas area, was attending to his patients yesterday (Monday) when two unknown assailants entered the clinic and opened fire on him before fleeing the spot on a bike,” Jamaat Ahmadiyya Pakistan spokesman Salimuddin said.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Khosa is survived by his wife, two sons and as many daughters.

Police have registered a murder case against unidentified men and are investigating the case further.
