Another drone strike in South Waziristan, 7 killed

Seven persons were killed in a U.S. drone attack in Push Ziarat area of Tehsil Shawal in South Waziristan on Sunday, according to news reports quoting local officials.

While the identities of those killed are unclear, the Pakistan government has condemned the U.S. drone strike that took place in South Waziristan. These unilateral strikes are a violation of Pakistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Pakistan has repeatedly emphasised the importance of bringing an immediate end to drone strikes,an official statement said.
