35 killed in Pakistan road accident

At least 35 people were killed and several others injured on Saturday when a petrol tanker collided with two buses in south-west Pakistan’s Balochistan province.

The accident occurred when two speeding buses collided with a petrol tanker coming from opposite direction on RCD Highway in Hub.

According to eyewitnesses, after the collision the vehicles caught fire, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of several people.

The victims were rushed to nearby hospitals with reports saying that many bodies were burnt beyond recognition.
