Mitt Romney has cast his ballot in the U.S. presidential election. U.S. Vice President Joe Biden voted at a high school in his hometown, Wilmington, in the north-eastern state of Delaware.

Asked who he voted for, Mr Romney replied, “I think you know.”

The Republican challenger still has campaign rallies Tuesday in the crucial battleground state of Ohio and neighbouring Pennsylvania.

Mr Romney’s wife, Ann, was at his side when the pair cast their ballots near their Massachusetts home. Mr Romney will return to Boston on Tuesday night for an Election Day reception.
