November 26, 2009 10:17 pm | Updated 10:17 pm IST - ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan announced on Thursday that its Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi would lead his country’s delegation to the November 27-29 Commonwealth summit in Trinidad.

It was earlier speculated that Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) may provide another platform for a meeting between the Prime Ministers of Pakistan and India after their last meeting on the sidelines of the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Egypt.

But Prime Minister Gilani has opted out of CHOGM for unspecified reasons.
