A small craft crashed in eastern Indonesia on Sunday, killing all four people on board, the Transportation Ministry reported.

The Piper PA 31 plane was on its way from Papua province to the city of Surabaya to undergo an inspection when it went down in Tual, a town on the Moluccan islands, said ministry spokesman Bambang Ervan.

All four members of the crew were killed, he said.

“It was raining at that time, but we still don’t know the cause of the accident,” Ervan said.

The plane was operated by air charter company PT Intan Angkasa Air Service, the spokesman said.
