Over 20 workers buried in landslide in China

There was no immediate word on deaths or injuries resulting from Monday afternoon’s landslide at a makeshift dormitory in the village of Luojiang near the resort city of Guilin.

State media report that more than 20 workers have been buried in a landslide at a quarry in southern China.

There was no immediate word on deaths or injuries resulting from Monday afternoon’s landslide at a makeshift dormitory in the village of Luojiang near the resort city of Guilin.

The official Xinhua News Agency says the landslide followed heavy rains over the weekend across the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region where the village is located.
