Over 100 flights grounded due to fog in Tokyo

An official says over 100 flights have been grounded due to dense fog over Japan’s main domestic airport.

Fumi Oka, an official at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport, said Thursday that 103 domestic flights were canceled. At least 34 flights were delayed due to the fog over Haneda. The weather trouble affected more than 17,000 passengers.

An official at Tokyo’s Narita International Airport, Japan’s main international airport, said all flights are operating on schedule.
