A satellite North Korea launched aboard a long-range rocket is orbiting normally, said South Korea on Thursday. Its Defence Ministry said the satellite was orbiting at a speed of 7.6 km per second, though it’s not known what mission it is performing. North Korea says itwould be used to study crops and weather patterns. U.S. also said “initial indications are that the missile deployed an object that appeared to achieve orbit”.
