Mo Yan, Liu Xiaobo: life of extremes


China's writer Mo Yan, who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2012, is facing criticism for his pro-government stands while Liu Xia, wife of 2010 Nobel Peace Prize winner Liu Xiaobo, a jailed human rights activist, is struggling to come to terms with her confinement under house arrest in Beijing.




On April 25, 2015, a 7.9 magnitude strong earthquake struck Nepal which devastated important historic places. India and some neighbouring countries were also affected. Relief materials from India and other countries were sent to Nepal.
