Hollywood legend Marilyn Monroe’s chest X-Rays have fetched a whopping $45,000 at an auction.

Monroe’s X-Rays went under the hammer for 15 times more than the estimated money, Contactmusic reported.

A set of three X-rays of Monroe’s chest taken during her 1954 visit to Lebanon Hospital in Cedars, Los Angeles were expected to fetch around $800 to $1,200 each.

But the organisers at Julien’s Auction in Las Vegas on Sunday were left astounded as the X—Rays sold collectively for a whooping $45,000 which broke all records.

The other belongings of the actress, who died in 1962 due to drug overdose, included a prompt book from unfinished film ‘Something’s Got to Give’ and a bottle of ‘Chanel perfume’ which she owned.
