Man gets bail in honeymoon murder case

Shrien Dewani, accused of organising the killing of his wife Anni Dewani during honeymoon in South Africa, was granted bail by a court here on Friday. He has denied any involvement in the murder.

Mr. Dewani was being held at Wandsworth Prison here and is due to be released on a bail of £250,000. He also faces electronic tagging, home curfew and having to report to the police daily.

The sensational case of the Indian-origin couple who went on honeymoon after a “fairytale” wedding in India continues to hog the headlines in the British press.
