LeEco unveils superphones, driverless concept car

All three "Superphones" have a metal unibody design, thin bezels on the front and a fingerprint scanner for extra security.

Playing a disruptive force again, global internet and technology conglomerate LeEco on Wednesday launched three “superphones”, a range of television sets and the world’s first driverless concept Super Car here.

The three superphones — “Le 2”, “Le 2 Pro” and “Le Max 2” — are loaded with USB Type-C audio port feature CDLA (Continual Digital Lossless Audio) technology to offer high-quality audio.

All three “superphones” have a metal unibody design, thin bezels on the front and a fingerprint scanner for extra security.

LeEco Le 2 has a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display and is powered by MediaTek’s Helio X20 tri-cluster deca-core processor paired with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage.

It is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera and LED flash and an 8-megapixel camera up front. Armed with a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging support, the device also including VoLTE, among others.

LeEco Le 2 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s Helio X25 deca-core chipset paired with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage variants.

Le 2 Pro comes with a resolution of 21-megapixel in the rear camera and has a front-facing 8-megapixel unit.

LeEco Le Max 2 device comes with a 5.7-inch QHD display. The smartphone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor paired with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage. The superphone comes equipped with a 3,100 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 feature.

The “superphones” run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS wrapped under LeEco’s customised EUI 5.5.

LeEco also showcased its “supercar” LeSEE — touted as the world’s first driverless concept supercar. The concept car encompasses a unique “internet” design, with a large and flamboyant LED screen.

It has facial recognition, emotion recognition, system recognition and path recognition technology.

LeEco also launched three fourth generation Super TVs Super 4 X50 Pro, Super 4 X50, Super 4 X50 CSL. The products are in 50-inch size and have 9.9 mm ultra-slim metal bodies.
