Medics and police say three foreigners have died when a luxury cruise liner slammed into the docks in a Red Sea resort in Egypt.

A security official says it’s not clear what caused the ship to hit the docks on Friday in Sharm el—Sheik.

Police and rescue officials say the three killed include an Indian, a Brazilian and a Honduran but they weren’t sure whether they were crew members or tourists. They say five other people were injured.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity in exchange for releasing the information ahead of an official announcement.
