Urges international community to declare India “a state supporting terrorism on its soil”
Jamat-ud-Da’wah (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed on Monday demanded a ban on organisations such as the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, and urged the international community to declare India “a state supporting terrorism on its soil” in view of Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde’s remarks on ‘Hindu terrorism.’
Initially, the mainstream media took only a perfunctory note of the statement, but by Monday evening it had become a subject for television discussions. On the other hand, the JuD has been trying to generate a discussion on ‘Hindu terrorism’ on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook since Sunday afternoon. This was followed up on Monday with a press conference by Hafiz Saeed in Lahore.
‘Stand vindicated’
According to the JuD, Mr. Shinde’s statement vindicated its stance on ‘Hindu terrorism.’ “We have been saying this since long time, the Indian Minister dared to speak what was obvious,” JuD tweeted this afternoon soon after Hafiz Saeed briefed the media on the issue.
Describing Mr. Shinde’s statement as a “big breakthrough,” the JuD chief said India’s claim to being a secular country had been exposed. He also wanted to know if the U.S. would use its drones against “Hindu terror training camps” like it did in Pakistan; adding that if the world did not take notice then it would become clear that there was an international conspiracy against Islam.
Arrest of ‘spies’
The alleged arrest of two Indian spies from Lahore on Monday was also flagged by the JuD as more evidence of ‘Hindu terrorism.’ No details were available about these arrests and officials at the Indian High Commission said Pakistani authorities had not contacted them in the case.
Meanwhile, the JuD timeline on Twitter and Facebook pages were full of references to ‘Hindu terrorism’ and alleged photographs of such camps. This is not the first time the JuD has used voices from within India to cite its case. Just last week, the JuD flagged a tweet by Lt. Gen. (retd) H.S. Panag stating that “our strategy must focus on direct covert actions & exploiting the Pak fault lines i.e. Balochistan, FATA, Baltistan, Shias & economy.” Referring to this tweet posted soon after over 100 people were killed in blasts in Balochistan, JuD tweeted: “Behind the chaos — any doubts?”

Has any of the Congressi politicians visited RSS camps sites before making such
pathetic, irresponsible and derogatory statements against RSS/BJP or sangh parivar?
Has they seen and know what is taught in those campsites? Please visit a nearest
shakha (branch) of RSS and it will be enough to give you a glimpse of what is taught,

Please try to peek into your Congress history, the greatest of our leader, Gandhi-ji
praised RSS and applauded for their selfless work.
The moment somebody is addressed as a terrorist,he ceases to be part of any religion,since all religions preach kindness to others.
This basic philosophy should have been known to Shinde.
When the head of a terrorist organization and a government leader have a common enemy, it is a clear sign that the line between them has been blurred.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
Who's Hafiz Saeed? Why are we giving importance to what he says? Media
shouldn't print such illogical news & give undue advantage to people
like him. Why do we care what a terrorist has to say?
If he (Shinde) has any proof then what he is waiting for? Ban these organizations with immediate effect and put their leaders into Jail (as policy of congress). As a home minister he has all such powers then making such comments has no meaning. It is just a dirty politics of Congress to please muslim vote banks and making native people unhappy to show that we care the people we adopted...
At international level such statements made India's position down and give a chance of Hafiz kind of people to make commnet on India.
A great political move by Indian Government.
Decontrol diesel prices. people for sure will oppose it so give them 3
additional cylinders at subsidised rate. This is what is going to affect
pocket by an amount of around 500-600 immediately. People are quiet but
what about opposition?
Give them a blow that forces them to forget all other things.
But what about common man? Do politicians really care what their
statements means to common man and their religious beliefs.

what Shinde uttered were uncalled for , as Home Minister he should be
more responsible , his statements has definitely harm the image of our
great nation and also in my opinion terrorism has no religion and
linking it with a great religion like Hinduism is uncalled for , he
should apologize for such nonsense statements and what HUD chief is
spitting venom is nothing new , so ignore him , time will teach

How without giving any factual details HM is making such statement? this is solely showing the upeasment politics. he must remember the terrorist dont follow any religion neither Hinduism not any other.
This is crystal clear that all RSS, VHP,Bajrang dal, Shiv Sena, abhinav
bharat etc is involved to De Stablize the country. All these outfits
should be ban immediately to save our nation and justice must prevail.
Can the congress and HM go this cheap to appease the minorities and to distract the public view of their party's transfer of leadership to its crown price? God save Congress! Some discipline in saving the nation's grace is needed here by the men in government...
If Mr. Shinde has evidence as he claimed, why has no action been taken? Having come to know about the so called HINDU TERRORISM supported, encouraged by RSS, BJP, as a Minister Responsible, if no action is taken then it shall be construed that he and the UPA government is encouraging, supporting terrorism. That is what Hafiz Saeed is saying which is correct. When the Country's Home Minister, who is supposed to be responsible, has made a statement means, he knows what he says.
By making such statement Mr. Shinde has just scored same side goal which would only make congress's position tough. They would even loose the votes of Muslim community which he tried to aim for.
If Pakistani terrorist organizations operate only inside Pakistan, the rest of the world won't really care about them! Drones are regularly flying over Pakistan because they are a nuisance to others. There are Hindu extremists who wouldn't be very different in indoctrination from Islamist terrorists, but they're by no means an international threat. Most importantly, India knows how to control them, unlike Pakistan.
Mr. Shinde’s admittance is a brave move and based on his inside knowledge and intellegence about our very own home grown terrorism.
Since Pakistan issues all statements to India through Hafiz Saeed,High
Commissioner Salman Bashir is redundant. Please send him back.
With the comment being on ban on RSS, VHP shows that The Hindu is also in a way going in a way to comply with the statement of Shinde. Shame on this anti national newspaper you are connivingly conspiring against Hindus.
On a lighter note if we had to hear all this only after something was done by Hindu terrorists then that would have been much better..
Well on a serious note Hindu terrorism is as much a myth as is Hindu rastra and official Indian history. The reality is the efficacy and effectiveness of so called Hinduism as an ideology, which defeats other ideologies like socialism and capitalism hands down. The saying "united we stand and divided we fall" does not holds good for Hinduism. And the irony is that opponents of Hinduism wants it to be united and single bodied and Shinde's was one such attempt. Well that was not his main motive, the main motive was to deflect attention from his yuvraj specially from the group which in media parlance is called as silent majority (another myth).

For a cabinet minister to say things on record without providing proof
is dangerous. I do not know which Hindu terrorist he accuses? Are all
Hindus terrorists? Is Viswa Hindu Parishad a terrorist organization or
RSS or any other entity and does he have any proof? Now that Hafeez
Saeed has used his remarks it is more important for the minsiter to
come clean on his accusations. India where Hindus are a majority of
the population needs an answer. Irresponsible comments such as what
this minister has made is detrimental to national interests and Hindus
everywhere are now made vulnerable to be accused in the same vein as
Osama Ben Ladin. It is time the minister come out with his proof for
his allegations.
Being in a responsible position Shinde should not act like someone having a foot in mouth
disease. He must immediately resign for failing to stop other groups from doing what he claims they do OR if he cant do that seek a public unconditional apology for irresponsible comments he has made. In either cases, its better if he is sacked before he puts more mud on himself and in the face of our country. Where is the sense of patriotism among Congress politicians, Digvijay and Shinde likes ? Do they atleast know of the existence of such words or all they care about is vote banks to come to power again?

JuD has no right to make any comments. Beside the politician and media
should abolish the term Hindu /Muslim terrorism. majority of the hindu
people in india are innocent and generous, they are misguided by some
cruel fascist organization. The home minister must be taken an action
against terror rather than making futile comments.

Whomsoever it comes, it is more than 100% true. Yes, in all
circumstances, these saffron organizations like RSS, VHP, Bajrang Dal
should be banned. Though it is very unpalatable truth, yet I am all
the more convinced that India is soft on Hindu/Saffron terrorism and
covertly supporting these activities - both the Congress and NCP in
Maharastra not omitting the biased communal approach of the Indian
Police, Army and other establishments. Whenever there is any communal
riots or even a small fight the police more than a mute spectator aids
and abets the hindu fundamentalists as recently in Dhule riots. In the
history of communal riots in India, almost all commissions pointed
out the excess of police, army (in J&K, Bhagalpur, Ahmedabad, Meerut,
Lucknow etc) and its connivance with the hindu mobs/leaders. With the
sole exception of the Gujarat Minister who was sentenced, other
killers are left unpunished. The law is not the same for muslims who
are booked and punished. Where is justice?
Shame on Shinde.Without any evidence how can give such statements? Shame on Congress for still continuing him as Home Minister.
Ban them where in Pakistan ?
Immediately dismiss Shinde from the post of Home Minister. This can reduce the effect of damage he has done.
While the RSS does have few skeletons in it's closet, look who's
talking! The JuD! What a nut job this man must be to say that India
sponsors terrorism on it's soil!
Social networks are highly dangerous carriers of news and
opinions and people are exploiting it. Serving and ex-servicemen
should avoid social networks like death. Our enemies are just
waiting to exploit such tweets. It is also advisable to drop use of
one's rank after retirement when using the internet.
As a responsible minister Mr.Shinde should not have made these statements or he should come out with evidences .Also as the person responsible to take actions He should not allow BJP to run governments , ban the organizations , bring back POTA and arrest the perpetuators- as he claims they are fanning terrorism. Else he should apologize for this politcal rant and not model himslef like Mr.Digvijay sing when he is a minister. Its sad to note that congress is falling to new lows and helping international terrorist organizatons more leverage and trying all out to appease to get to power.

Mr. Shinde’s foot in the mouth statement on Hindu Terrorism, ensures
that he is but an intellectual dwarf with no vision beyond his nose! Mrs
Sonia and her dynastic successor Rajeev are not exactly covering
themselves with glory with the sorry set of minions surrounding them,
reminding us of a Yiddish Proverb “Surrounding yourself with dwarfs does
not make you a giant”.
