While Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his delegation were busy with meetings, his wife Gursharan Kaur visited the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz humanitarian city and the national museum here.

The humanitarian city is essentially a national rehabilitation facility with the latest technology for prosthetic care. It also has an advanced artificial limb centre. She evinced keen interest in the activities being undertaken there and made some inquiries.

Ms. Kaur also visited the National Museum, which houses a gallery of the region’s history from pre-historic times. She also saw a gallery on the Prophet’s life and teachings. Ms. Kaur appreciated the efforts taken to preserve and maintain galleries.
