Former Pakistan Air Force chief, Air Marshal Nur Khan, has died at the age of 88, his family said on Friday.
Mr. Khan, who was born on February 22, 1923, was the Commander-in-Chief of the Pakistan Air Force during 1965-69.
He died at Mianwali in Punjab province late on Thursday night.
He was commissioned in the British Indian Air Force on January 6, 1941.
Earlier, he attended the Royal Indian Military College at Dehradun after completing his education.
Khan later served as the Governor of West Pakistan and head of both the Pakistan Hockey Federation and Pakistan Cricket Board.
He will be buried at his ancestral village on Friday, his family said.
