Iran’s official news agency reports a gas explosion killed two staff members at the country’s central bank and injured 10 others.

The Thursday report by IRNA said the explosion took place at the central bank building in downtown Tehran and ascribed it to a gas leak.

The blast took place on Wednesday.

In January, a bomb killed a Tehran University professor at the gate of his home. No arrest was reported; instead Iranian officials blamed it on foreign-based opposition groups.
