Carolina Evangelist Billy Graham remains in a North Carolina hospital after being admitted for treatment of pneumonia.
A spokesman for Mission Hospital in Asheville confirmed early Thursday that the 92—year—old Rev. Graham was still at the hospital and there’s no change in his condition.
Dr. Shaw Henderson, a pulmonologist, said Rev. Graham is being treated with antibiotics and was “clinically stable.”
A more detailed report on Rev. Graham’s condition is expected later Thursday.
A spokesman for Rev. Graham says he went to the hospital on Wednesday morning after he experienced sweating, coughing and breathing difficulty on Tuesday night. Larry Ross says Rev. Graham was never in distress.
Rev. Graham’s primary physician, Dr. Lucien Rice, said no date had been set for his release.
His son, Franklin Graham, was in North Korea and had no plans to return home now.
