Myanmar’s pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi, recently released from detention, has been reunited with a son she last saw a decade ago.

Kim Aris flew into Yangon on Tuesday after being granted a visa by the military regime and was greeted by his smiling mother at the airport.

The 33-year-old son resides in Britain. Ms. Suu Kyi was freed on November 13 after more than seven years under house arrest.
