British Foreign Secretary William Hague on Sunday seized on last week's attacks on Israeli diplomats in New Delhi, Bangkok and Georgia to accuse Iran of spreading terrorism.
Iran has denied any involvement in the attacks and, instead, blamed Israel and America for the assassination of several Iranian nuclear scientists in recent years.
Mr. Hague said the last week's events and the discovery recently of an alleged plot to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador in Washington suggested Tehran's involvement “in illegal and potentially terrorist activity in other parts of the world”.
“We saw the Iranian plot recently to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador to Washington on U.S. soil.
“It's alleged that they have been involved in what happened in the last week in New Delhi, Georgia and Bangkok.
“I think Iran has increased in its willingness to contemplate utterly illegal activities in other parts of the world — this is part of the dangers that Iran is currently presenting to the peace of the world,” Mr. Hague told the BBC.
Israeli threats
The British Foreign Secretarywarned that if Iran developed nuclear weapons it could provoke an attack on it possibly leading to a war alluding to Israeli threats to attack Iran.
However, he said Britain had not been shown any plans by Israel for an attack on Iran and had not been asked to be involved in any such attack.
He insisted that Britain was focused on diplomacy and targeted economic sanctions to bring “Iran back to the table”.
Oil supplies
Mr. Hague's remarks came as Iran announced that it had stopped oil supplies to Britain and France. Britain sought to play down the move as it imports “very little'' oil from Iran and would not be greatly affected.

We can see that a NAM country like India unearthed the Iranian
connection. These atrocious actions of Iran have got to be stopped
sooner rather than later. Iran has been generally peaceful in the past
doesn't imply that they continue to be so even now. Remember even our
own corrupt politicians once were bright young boys who never bore a
grudge against everyone, pitied the poor and the dis-empowered etc.

I do not understand why Iran is showing his strength? they first imrpove itself as ecconomical, technolygical hub like India, China,japan U.K.,USA,etc then it should come in the race. Presently it is not in possition to even fight with Isrile ie. they will be crushed by NATO & Isrile simillar to Libya & Irak.

Iran must speed up at all risks and costs its development of Nuclear arsenal to combat North Atlantik Terorist Organisation from interfering in Irans Internal Affairs. NATO and USA and Israel motives is crystal clear, to subdue and rule the world.
I believe that the US should leave Iran alone. Iran helped the US in Afganistan. Iran have offered the US a peace treaty which the US refused. I think the Iranians are more peaceful than the US.
West Asia is a gigantic puzzle. Rulers therein, whether Kings or Dictators or Ayatollahs lack human emotions. Compassion is unknown.Generally all of them have been bad rulers. Otherwise Palestine would have been solved by now.There is no educated middle class who has a voice. The whole of W.Asia is controled by powerful clerics who are small in number but control large populace by peddling so called Islamic solutions to political and economic problems. They hate US and EU, but want that market for oil and as source of military hardware and technology.It is an explosive mix of Shia and Sunni fight with archaic tribal attitudes and values. India needs Iran. Saudi Arabia and Pak are against India's interests as they are creating trouble using Indian Muslim hardliners .Overthrowing US backed dictators has not been a great success like in Egypt.
