Abadi appeals for more help

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi made an in-person appeal to President Barack Obama on Tuesday for more help defeating the Islamic State militants.

Seven months after Mr. Abadi’s election, an honour guard of U.S. service members holding flags aloft greeted his limo for his first visit to the White House. The White House signalled that more aid could be coming.
