The Election Commission (EC) on Thursday assured security personnel that it would implement measures to simplify the voting process for them.

The Commission – Chief Election Commissioner Navin Chawla and Election Commissioners S.Y. Quraishi and V.S. They also interacted with the personnel in the Uri sector. Postal ballot, proxy voting and the issue of Electors Photo Identity Cards (EPIC) were some of the subjects discussed.

J and K Chief Electoral Officer B.R. Sharma and senior Army officials accompanied them.
