The Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) will conduct a demonstration against the move of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Union Government to enact the controversial Land Acquisition Bill.
Committee members met here under PPCC president A.V.Subramanian. All India General Secretary and former Union Minister V.Narayanasamy and Leader of Opposition V.Vaithilingam also participated to chalk out strategy to oppose the move.
Mr.Subramanian said, the move of the Union Government is anti-farmer and favouring the corporate. Hence, we decided to conduct demonstration on March 31 against the Union Government.
