The set of two stamps and miniature sheet is on the theme, ‘India-France: 50 Years of Space Cooperation’, highlighting the two satellite missions Megha-Tropiques and SARAL, said a release from the Office of the Postmaster General Chennai City Region.

The stamps celebrate exchanges between the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES), France’s national space agency.

The commemorative stamps, miniature sheets, first day covers and other items can be purchased from the Philatelic Bureaux across the country, said the release. Philatelists can also open a philatelic deposit account and get stamps at their doorstep, added the release.
