The police on Saturday arrested six persons and seized 1,100g of ganja meant for illegal sale at Pathukannu, near here.
Acting on a tip off that ganja was being sold in Pathukannu in Villianur police station limits, a special team was formed.
It nabbed six persons — Balu alias Balakrishnan, 30; Ajith alias Sasikumar, 21; Manikandan, 21; Prasanth alias Madhubalan, 23; Moorthy alias Thirumoorthy, 22; and Mani alias Manikandan, 18; and seized 1,100g of ganja, ₹3,000, three bikes and six mobile phones. .
