NLCIL organises mini-marathon as part of Vigilance Awareness Week

NLC India Limited organised a mini-marathon on Monday to sensitise people against corruption as part of the Vigilance Awareness Week.

T. Venkatasubramanian, Chief Vigilance Officer, NLC India Ltd, flagged off the mini marathon in the presence of N. Muthu, Executive Director, Human Resources and Venkatesan, Chief Manager, State Bank of India, Neyveli.

The mini-marathon started from the Double Bridge and ended at Gandhi Statue in Main Bazaar, Neyveli, covering a distance of 2.5 km. A large number of school children from Neyveli along with employees of NLCIL, carrying placards with slogans based on the theme ‘My Vision-Corruption Free India’ participated in the run.

At the end of the marathon, senior executives and employees of NLCIL and students signed on an Integrity Wall organised by the Vigilance Department near the Gandhi Statue. I. Nedumaran, Deputy General Manage, Education and Secretary, NLCIL Schools administered the Integrity Pledge to all participants.
