The traders and public can now access clean drinking water in Grand Bazaar market in Puducherry. Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy and MLA R. Siva inaugurated a RO unit set up by GLMF Pondicherry Heritage Round Table 167 in the market.

Ganapathy Subramanian, Chairman, Pondicherry Heritage Round Table 167, was present. He informed that at least 500 litres of water will be recycled per hour for drinking water purpose through the RO unit. One of the oldest markets in Puducherry, the Grand Bazaar market, was set up in 1963.
