The Budget Session of Legislative Assembly will commence on September 8. Chief Minister N. Rangasamy will present budget proposals of Union Territory in the Assembly at the session.
“The Legislative Assembly of Puducherry will assemble at 9.30 a.m on September 8, Monday at the Assembly hall.” said, S. Mohandass, Secretary in press note.
In recent weeks, the Government had been under fire from the Opposition for the delaying in convening the Assembly and sought an explanation from the government on the issue.
