All debris and unwanted junk will be cleared from all the police stations in the Union Territory, Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi said here on Tuesday.

Inspector-General of Police Surender Singh Yadav has been entrusted with the task of visiting the police stations.

Legal approval

After getting legal clearance, vehicles impounded and those involved in accidents would be disposed of, Ms. Bedi said. “The vehicles not needed would be put on auction. All the junk should be removed from the police stations. All the stations have been directed to clean up after getting permission from the courts,” she said.
